Setu chair has been awarded the red dot award for product design
With more than 12,000 submissions from more than 60 countries, the international “red dot design award” is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world. It is divided into the “red dot award: product design”, the “red dot award: communication design” and the “red dot award: design concept.”
Herman Miller is pleased to announce that its latest multi-purpose chair family, Setu, has been awarded the red dot award for product design in this year’s competition. The win allows Herman Miller to utilise the award within its marketing and communications, and gives access to the red dot award programme of activities for the next 12 months, which includes the permanent exhibition of the product at the red dot design museum in Germany, which attracts some 120,000 visitors per year.
This is a great win for Herman Miller, which will help raise the company’s profile within the German market and beyond.
