Key overcomes the limitations of this problem by ensuring that the adjustments exceed the standard requirements. Boss has developed a new thoracic support system that works in harmony with the fully synchronised tilt to maintain user alignment and reduce back pain. The back's contour is designed specifically for Boss's new thoracic support system.

This new theory is ratified by FIRA in-house ergonomist, Levant Caglar. To maintain the lumbar curve which keeps the intervertebral discs under uniform pressure, the chair's back has been uniquely developed to support the trunk of the body (thorax) to avoid the deterioration of the lumbar curve from the user's own body weight.
