Arne Jacobsen’s chair model 3208 was originally designed for the Danish Central Bank. It is also referred to as the Lily™ and was first introduced at the Danish furniture fair in 1970. The chair is made from laminated sliced veneer and is the result of an extremely complicated moulding process that ensures the perfect curves and the best comfort. The 3208 from 2007 is slightly larger than the original and comes in red, black or white lacquer or upholstered in fabric or leather. The base is available with 4 legs in chromed steel or with castors (3218).
