Tradex has been designed to meet both user and technology requirements. In the standard configuration, up to six tower CPUs plus ancillary equipment space can be accommodated on slide-out trays. For wire management, full length cable trays are mounted above the CPU space and below the work surfaces to contain equipment and cabling. The central spine contains integrated cooling venting to enable Tradex to be configured for both active and passive cooling systems.
The standard height adjustment facility provides incremental height settings between 670mm and 770mm. Options include mechanical and electrical height adjustment which will raise the Upper limit to 1200mm. Aesthetics can also be customised. Work surface details, materials and finishes, including soft edge technology can all be manufactured to user specification. Multiple monitor arrangements can be accommodated per desk in the standard configuration. Further options are available for monitor screens to be mounted on individual posts, horizontal gantries or low screens. The screen structures can either be mounted directly at the rear of the working surface and will move vertically with the work surface or can be mounted on a central core in a back-to-back configuration.
Tradex provides individual workers with a structure and platform that is independent of its neighbouring furniture. This allows multiple styles to be accommodated in one standard benching cluster. To allow for anatomical differences or adjustments in working style, Tradex can be raised or lowered from a normal height of 720mm in 12.5mm incremental stages, between 670mm and 770mm. The working surface is manufactured in a standard width of 1550mm and can be adapted from 1200 to 2400mm. Clusters can be configured to maximise the footprint within the office space. Each desk features a metal CPU cage in which up to six tower CPUs can be accommodated. Access is via doors on both sides, which can be lockable or fitted with latches and lift-off hinges.
Adapting to order Up to eight 19 inch viewable monitors can be mounted on one 1500mm width module desk. Monitors can be mounted at the back of each work surface at a fixed position relative to the work surface, on the central core at a fixed position relative to floor level or on individual posts, horizontal beams or low screens. Consideration has also been given to aesthetics. Tradex is orderable in a wide range of work surface material and finish options as well as a soft edge profile option available specifically for the work surface.
